The history of roulette dates back to France in the 17th century. Since then it has become one of the most popular casino games in Europe.

The Basics

Players buy chips from the croupier and then can place bets on any number (including zero) or group of numbers. The croupier then spins the ball in the wheel.

The wheel has 37 equally sized slots representing the numbers 0-36
In order to win at roulette you need to predict which slot the ball will land in after each spin. As luck plays a big part in roulette it’s a devil of a job.

Blackjack

Blackjack is basically a variation on the popular pontoon or "21". The game is suited to both novice and experienced players alike. In Blackjack you are betting against the dealer.

The player can draw a card on any amount but the dealer must draw up to 16 and stick on 17 and over. If the player has a better hand than the dealer then the player wins.

The player antes, and is then dealt a five-card hand; the dealer is also dealt five cards of which only one is exposed. The player now either folds, losing his ante, or bets an additional amount equal to exactly twice the ante. The dealer then reveals his remaining four cards. If the dealer's hand is not Ace-King or better, the player is paid even money on the ante and nothing on the bet. If the dealer's hand is Ace-King or better it is said to "qualify" (for play against the player). In that case if the dealer's hand is better than the player's, the player's ante and bet are collected by the house. If the dealer's qualifying hand is worse than the player's hand, the player is paid even money on the ante and an amount on the bet according to the player's hand as follows:

Texas Holdem Poker

The game play of hold'em begins with players being dealt two hole casds, face down, to be used as their personal hand. Once these are dealt, there is a round of betting. The first three community cards or board cards are turned in the next deal, followed by another round of betting. The final two board cards are dealt separately, each followed by another round of betting. Players will use a five card combination of board cards and hole cards to attempt to get the best hand at the table and take the pot.
